Smarter Pool

Terms of Service

Lewis Tech LLC · Carmel, Indiana · Updated July 2026

The agreement

Smarter Pool is provided by Lewis Tech LLC. By creating an account you agree to use the app to monitor and control pool equipment that you own or are authorised to operate.

Guidance, not a guarantee

Chemistry readings, health scores, and Deb's guidance are informational aids. They are not a substitute for professional water testing or your own judgement about pool safety. Always verify safety-critical conditions yourself before anyone swims.

Equipment control

Commands are executed on a best-effort basis over your network and ours. Networks fail, equipment faults, and power goes out. Do not rely on the app alone for anything safety-critical — physically verify drains, covers, chemical feeders, and heaters.

Hardware

The service requires Smarter Pool bridge hardware and a compatible sensor. Hardware carries its own warranty terms provided at purchase.

Subscriptions

Where offered, subscriptions renew until cancelled and are managed through your app store account. Cancel any time; access continues to the end of the paid period.

Acceptable use

Don't use the service to control equipment you aren't authorised to operate, attempt to reach another household's data, or interfere with the service's operation.

Our intellectual property

The Smarter Pool applications, bridge software, and all associated designs and documentation are the proprietary property of Lewis Tech LLC. Smarter Pool™ and Pool Girl Deb™ are trademarks of Lewis Tech LLC. Nothing here grants any licence to copy, modify, or redistribute them.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lewis Tech LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be noted by the date above, and continued use constitutes acceptance. Questions: [email protected]

These terms are written plainly and are pending review by counsel. If anything here is unclear, ask us — we would rather explain it than have you guess.
