Smarter Pool

Privacy Policy

Lewis Tech LLC · Carmel, Indiana · Updated July 2026

What we store

We store the minimum needed to run your pool: your account email, your pool's equipment status and chemistry history, device tokens for notifications you enable, and household membership you configure. This data lives in our cloud database and is protected by per-account access rules, so one household cannot see another's pool.

What we don't do

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties except the infrastructure providers that operate the service — hosting, push notification delivery, and payment processing — under their own confidentiality obligations, or where the law requires it.

Voice assistants

Voice integrations (Siri, Alexa) process your spoken requests through Apple's and Amazon's services under their own privacy policies. Smarter Pool receives only the resulting command, never a recording of your voice.

Notifications

Notifications are opt-in. If you enable them, we store a device token so we can deliver messages to your phone. Turning notifications off in the app or in your device settings stops this, and you can ask us to delete the stored token.

Payments

If you subscribe, payment is handled by the app store or our payment processor. We never see or store your card details.

Your data, your call

You can request a copy of your data, correction of anything inaccurate, or deletion of your account and its contents by emailing [email protected]. We will action deletion requests within 30 days.

Chemistry history is retained while your account exists, because it is what powers trends and the guidance Deb gives you. When an account is deleted, that history goes with it.

Children

Smarter Pool is intended for adults responsible for a swimming pool. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and note the date above. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
